Okay... It's about time to let you all know what i'm up to. I was back in the Bay last week. Bumped into hella people at Suede! I wasn't gonna go, but what heck! What am I gonna do in the hotel room by myself anyway? So I went to Suede with Ah Tung, Yuen, & Erin. Then met up with Katie, Van, Doris, Justin, Vivi, & Henry there. Who would'a thought that I'd bumped into Tim Ho there?? OMG! That's what I call FATE!

Thanks Vivi for this pic! This was the only picture I took from this SF trip. Boy do I look sober? it's because I was!! I didn't drink at all at Suede, I was on medication for my nasty cough. Just danced all nite long! Gotta be 4 hours straight of non-stop dancing. Boi, I was sweating like a hot-yoga-man! =P




And I was back in HK last Friday. Sick as hell... errr.... Still haven't recover from my cold/cough.... my voice is gone but my spirit never dies!!! wahahhaaa... I went costume shopping with James & Diane last nite. 'Coz we're having a NERD PARTY tomorrow!!!! wohooooo~ Our costumes are off the hook!!!! We'll have a good laugh at each other tomorrow! We'll show you what NERDS are all about! hehee... can't wait cannot wait!!!!!

Then I'll be back to the States on Saturday! Yes... I'm having 2 US trips in the month of October. =) My beloved JuJu is getting married! Of course I'll be there to see her walk down the aisle! But before that, I'm going to Vegas for the very first time in my life!!!! Me, Nevadian, lived there for 5 damn years, and yes... it's my first time to Vegas.... heh. Althought I'm every excited about my very first Vegas trip, I will not be able to tell you about it later. 'coz, WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS, STAYS IN VEGAS! Muahahhahaahhh...

金曲懷舊夜

金會晚宴，一年一度嘅盛事。我家的蘇師傅和金鋪老扳交情什深，所以每年都得到金會晚宴門卷，以VIP姿態欣賞懷舊金曲和參加幸運大抽獎。我今年已經係第二年跟蘇師傅去襯熱鬧啦！

同上年一樣，全晚嘅氣氛好好！朱咪咪實在非常壓台！我和一眾司奶睇到如痴如醉。


有朱咪咪，當然唔少得wan光！Classic！！

全晚仲有Ｎ個你講唔出佢個名嘅藝人，細龜，常在得，經常份演黑社會大佬，道友，茶餐廳伙記&校工嘅演員們。仲有我個friend個friend-- 殘浩一丁嘅拉丁霍啓光！


全晚有十幾個幸運大獎。先抽坐號，再抽台號。現場氣氛高漲！我哋一直嗌破喉嚨都抽唔到我吔嗰台。直至抽第三獎，姑丈居然被抽中！！！嘩~~~~ 太好運啦！姑丈真係好有抽獎運架！成日都抽到好野嘅。


正當我地嗰台人為姑丈high到爆之際，大會司儀又嗌我地個台號！原來Auntie Nancy 抽中咗第二獎呀！OMG！！！！你睇吓Ｄ金魚幾咁金~




就係咁，一年一度嘅金會晚宴就在一片歡笑聲中結束嘞。期待下一年再參與啊！

Being Martha Stewart

I baked my first cake ever on Saturday!! OMG!!! Went to a baking class with Malina & bro and made a Strawberry and Baileys Mascarpone Cheesecake. I made the whole thing from scretch! Even the lady fingers ar~ HO GING Ne~ hehee... brought it home and ate it all. It was sooooooooo gooooooooooood! I can't even believe it myself. I didn't believe it when James said that I'm most likely to become the next Martha Stewart, now I do. Wakakkaaa...

Lady fingers
egg white 2pc
sugar 40g
egg yold 2pc
plain flour 40g
powder suger
chopped pistachio

1. Whip the egg white until stiff around 20sec. Add sugar in 2-3 times and whip unitl smooth.
2. Fold in egg yolk. then, fold in plain flour3. Bake at 180C for 6 minutes, baked 2 minutes after turning off the oven.

Biscuit Base
Digestive biscuit (5pc) 75g
sugar 10g
unslted butter (melted) 20g

1. Crumb the digestive biscuit and mix with suger
2. Gently mi with soft butter. Press into the cake ring as the base

Bileys syrup
Baileys 20g
sugar 10g
instant coffee powder 4g
water 60g

1. Mix sugar and instant coffee powder, add boil water and mix. After set cool, add Baileys.

Cheesecake filling
egg yolk 2pc
icing sugar 40g
Mascarpone 180g
Baileys 60g
gelatin leaves (3pc) 7.5g
whipping cream 160g
instant coffee powder 2g
boiled water 2g
strawberry filling 120g

1. Whip whipping cream with medium speed and place in refrigerator. Set aside.
2. Add instant coffee powder in hot water and whip well, then fold in Mascarpone and mix. Set aside
3. whip egg yolk and icing sugar unitl frothy
4. Addthe whiped egg yolk in to mascarpone mixture by 2 to 3 times and mix well.
5. Fold in whipped cream. Use high speed to whip for a while unitl stiff.
6. Add gelatin and mix with high speed.7. Then add bailey and mix.

Being Rosemary

Got a message from Mav last Thursday.

"Hey! Do you wanna go watch a fashion show with me?"

"Sure! Wot kind of fashion show?"

"Vivienne Westwood & some other brands. It's a fashion show at Festival Walk.Cocktail starts at 5:30"

Okay... I pass by Festival Walk everyday anyway. So I went there with Mav. When we got there, we noticed that there're only a few VIP seats from VW, and we're two of them. (Humm... how did that happen? Mav must be shopping a lot lately =P) Anyway, as we checked our names with the receptionist, there were about 10 catering servers waiting for us. OMG! The appetizers were sooooooo good! YUMMY~~ Wakkaaa... I tried not to eat too much in front of all the good looking VIPs. Cocktail were also very good. Then Mav & I took the front row seats right next to the runway. Where a bottle of fine wine where nicely placed on for each VIP guest. Then the music started, and the models were behind the back drops.

"Humm... I wonder which models are gonna walk for us?" I asked...

"Oh sh*t! That's Rosemary... and that's Chan Ka Yung.. Wah! It's actually models that I could name!!"

"Wait a minute... that's Mr. Hong Kong! Wakakkaaa... and he's got a big butt I cannot lie... Wooooh"

It's my second time to a fashion show. Last fashion show was much more relaxed on YoYo Island, almost a joke to us. However, this time was a lot more fancy. Viewing from the front row seat... I got to feel what it's like to be Rosemary-- The press was clicking their cameras like crazy, pose pose pose. Ahhh~ I like the appetizers, I like the free wine, I like fashion shows, I like front row seats! =D

Scabulous!

I've been playing Scabulous on facebook for days. Today, I manage to gether 3 other brave souls to join me for a game of real-life SCABBLE!! Muahahhaaa... We spent over an hour eatting moon cake while digging through the dictionary. It's just Scabulous!!

踏入時光機

最近睇電視睇返一個令人會心微笑嘅廣告。 雖然廣告用咗新嘅動畫, 但係個兩隻牛同首歌都無變。 仿佛踏入咗時光機，去返十幾年前咁！*豎琴音樂 dolurlurluurr (時空轉移)* 當年嘅米雪酥一見到呢個廣告都會興高采烈地跟住唱。之後每次經過小食部都會買一包嚟嘆ga~ *豎琴音樂 dolurlurluurr* 原來我的最愛「笨」唔係Red Bull！而係維他朱古力奶呀~~

Congratulations to my dear cousin Christy!! She just gave birth to her 1st child "Kam Jai" on September 7th, 2007. Both mom & baby are healthy and happy . Welcome to our family "Kam Jai"!! Let's ask So Man Fung to name you with my membership discount!! Heheee...
