My first Art Jam! Went to a gallery in Sheung Wan for a charity fund raising art jam yesterday with DC. I forgot when was the last time I painted... it was probably in middle school... and therefore my painting skills stayed at that level (if not worse)! LOL! We sat inside the studio at the display area. For the 4.5 hours that I was there, pedestrians stopped at starred at me like I was the displaying art. I feel really bad, 'coz they must'a thought I'm an experienced painter but I am so not! Sorry to have wasted their time =.=! A lot of them walked up really close against the window, and I just smiled to them and thinking "please go away! you're making me nervous!"
Some kids joined us too. They were painting outside the studio. Later on, Police came! The policemen said they cannot used the public area and ordered them to clear the drawing stands and chairs immediately. The orgainizer explained this is a charity event and it's just a fun activity for the community to bring the neighberhood together. The police raised his voice, and yet again, ordered them to clear all objects before the next time he walked past. Once again, it proves that HK is such not an Artsy place! We can't even paint on the side of the street while no one was even complaining!
And here's my first art jam painting. Something that a 8-yr-old would draw! hahaa... For your information (I Shyan!) it's a lion not a cat! & that's a snake not a worm!! every animal in this painting represents someone =)

Then last night I bought my jungle animal painting to Antique Bar. Yes, it's a Sunday and it's closed, but we went there for a private and cozy Hot Pot/All you can sing/Chai Mui gathering!
Random facts:
Three out of five girls last night were named Michelle.
Michelle was DJ-ing for a bit.
Michelle doesn't know how to open up a Lai Liu Ha.
The other michelle knows how but was just too lazy to crack open a Lai Liu Ha.
Michelle found a microphone stand.
Michelle broke a dish while helping to stack the dishes out of the dish washer.
Michelle sang a beautiful song that Michelle has never heard before and loved it!
(guess which one was me? was it really obvious that I was the dish breaker???)
Here's the beautiful song that one of the Michelles sang. She sang so well that I'm sure she sounded better than Amei! Great song!
